So we have a new president. I love the change and am amazed every time he is on tv. A reminder of how much the world has changed! SO far we have come!
anyways, i dont remember a "Bush" action figure. BUT! there is a OBAMA action figure!hahaha Love it!

Magical Mascara!

The other day I was fortunate enough to meet a very successful and beautiful, sweet lady. She started her own mascara line! Its called "Fairy Drops" and its all over in the stores in Japan. When I was there in Nov I saw it a lot and was curious but didnt get a chance to go and buy one. Well, she gave me the mascara herself! And now, Iam ADDICTED! Its the best mascara by far! If you know me , I love cosmetics and am very picky with my mascara!VERY! I was always a Lancome fan and I recently have been trying other's, but nothing really stuck. THIS ONE! This one is staying! It has three balls on the brush. Its like a magic wand!
The balls are like a fariydrop. Or a fairy's tear drop... how sweet it is~
No clumps, goes on really smooth and the platinum fairydrops have fibers in it so your lashes become more volumnious (if thats a real word!haha) And it comes on glossy!PLUS!! the package is super cute too!
Too bad it hasnt made its way here to the states yet, but Iam going to try to do something to make that happen! :)
My girlfriends already want one. So I have a list of people to get it for when I go back to Japan!hehehe~

Ive been sick!

Sorry guys and gals! I havent posted in a while cus I have been so out of it! I got the FLU! Yay~... Its funny, I usually dont get sick! Iam a very healthy person. But his time it hit me and I couldnt do much. I stayed in bed and watched alot of dvd's! Iam still recovering. Today the weather in LA is sunny, still cold out. But Sunny and that helps! It had been raining for the past few days and thats when the flu got a hold of me! Sorry, havent done anything exciting to post. But will get back on track! hehe

Some of my friends will be over tomorrow and for the weekend, so I decided to be a good host and make them dinner!....Which I dont mind at all cus I do love to cook! And since everyone knows my japanese side, I thought I would show them my brazilian!
Went down to this small Brazil Mall in Culver City. Its very small but has everything you need to make Feijoada! mmmm~ my fav.
My mom makes the best! Oh , and the cookies I couldnt keep my hands off of...just like my mom. Cassini Coconut ones! mmmm~ Cant wait!

Golden Globe Awards 2009

Watching the golden globes is so inspiring. I just watch Slumdog Millionaire a few days ago and totally fell in love with it. I cant stop thinking of the movie. (thats when you know it was good! You just cant forget it!) Iam so happy that a movie like that (meaning, so non-hollywood, no famous actors etc) winning an award like this makes me so happy inside.
And for one of my favorite actress' Kate Winslet. Her acceptance speech's were darling, adorable and honest. I love her for that.
Acting, directing, producing.... the list goes on. It is an industry of making dreams come true. Its amazing. Made me want to be more active on doing something. If not acting then maybe directing! Iam always fascinated by creators both behind and in front of the camera. It was a lovely Sunday. :)

Vincents first Dog Park!

Another wonderfully beautiful day in LA today and thought that I wouldnt want such a pretty day to go to waste. So I took all the pups out to the dog park. Mel did his own thing like always and Coco followed me while Vincent was being sniffed from left and right! He had no clue where he was! I had a couple of people come up and ask if he was a cat! ummmm... we are at a dog park!

Yesterday

Was such an LA day. It was one of those days where I loved LA. Sunny, warm, clear skies, good music on the radio.
I went to a couple of castings, dont know if I did well or not. But I had a fun time doing it and met some new nice people. Got myself a garden burger, shredded lettuce with cheese and some fried zucchini on the side , from Astro Burger of course. And drove home with the windows down. Ahhh LA your so good to me.....

River~

Over the Holidays I got to go and spend some time with one of my BFF's. She used to live on my street but moved away about a year and a half ago. I go visit her now and then. She lives by the river now, so I will def be up there more during the summer!
Anyways, the news was that she had a baby. THE CUTEST BABY EVER! Her name is River :) awwww soo cute. Love you guys~

The Best New Years EVER~!

Before anything, it was Josh's Birthday. Happy Birthday again Joshie. Love you!
OK! On New Years Eve, I got to eat the Last Nabe of the year at HARU in Weho. Got to spend time with my close friends and have a relaxing night. Then went over to see the floats the day before the parade. WOW, that was amazing! The Rose Parade is something I have been watching since I moved down to LA, and this time I actually got to see the floats up close! They were soooo~ cool! It makes you want to be a float maker!(iam sure there is a word for that...hehehe) But its that cool looking! We did the count down on the street and then went home and celebrated the count down one last time for 2008. My dad came over and we played Rock Band till late! So Much Fun! The next morning we woke up super early and went to go see the Rose Parade in Action. The marching bands make the parade so much more exciting! Hope you watched it on TV!!
My fav's were the Wizard of Oz, Mad Hatter and the Jack in the Box float! Yes, JAck in the Box,,,,Jack was on the float dancing with all these groovy 70's dancers. So much fun!

On my New ipod, the most i have been listening to is Lady GaGa. Thought I would post it for you who so not know who she is yet.
