My trip to China!

Sorry it took me a while to put these up here! So this was my 2nd day there. The first was a lot of work and discussing what we needed to do for the next line. The factory I use is in China, but they mainly do stuff for japanese stores and or clothing lines. So they speak japanese and do very good work! They are all such hard workers! It makes me look bad!!
So back to the story. the 2nd day we went out to Shanghai to look for some soft flowy fabrics. So we headed down to this big mall type of place that had little booth like stores inside. It was all filled with beautiful fabrics! And I found a few that I will be using for my Spring 09 line and maybe carry it over to summer 09 too! And after this we had a little bit of time so we walked around a bit. They took me to "Shanghai Times Square" And there was a big Ferragamo shoe. I big photo op!
Oh, our driver had on the brightest shirt in Shanghai! I loved it!

SO here it is you guys! I finally put up an online store! There are still only a few pieces. But Iam willing to ship it out internationally! I want all those Monn'Amur supporters to wear it too!

Right now..

At the moment, Iam taking a break from getting ready to leave the country once again.
I leave tomorrow for China! Been working really hard for my clothing line Monn'Amur. Iam going to work on my Spring '09 collection! That far out! And I am very very excited about it. I think the line just keeps getting better and better. I cannot wait till I get to share it all with you guys. It is out in some stores in CA and one in Japan. Its taking time to get it out there more, but Iam getting very good response and its very encouraging. So, slowly but gradually it will be in your towns boutiques! I will get it out to you. Iam also in the works for doing an online store, and YES, I will ship internationally. I want you fashionistas to rock it for me! Stores in California are EM&CO on 3rd St. FRED SEGAL FUN in Santa Monica will have it by the end of next month and so will QIO. In Japan we are now selling to BEAMS. (they have been super supportive..thank you, you guys!) and through the magazine LOOK'S. So keep your eyes peeled. We will be in a store near you!

Opening of Opening Ceremony Mini Mall

I got to celebrate the opening of the 2nd floor in the LA Opening Ceremony. It is my favorite store in LA. They have amazing lines, incredible choices of great brands. I got to meet the owner.He is such a nice guy. I am happy for their new addition.There were a few designers I look up to there. But my only celebrity sighting for the night was Jason Schwartzman. Enjoy!

This is how its all done...

I did my very first shipment for Monn'Amur..(thats why I have not been on..been so busy with all of this!) And I just wanted to show you a little of how its REALLY done. Some people think that clothes just come from this magic box...I wish! But really, its a lot of hard working people behind all of the making. I have been doing as much as I can. Iam a "hands on" kinda gal. So For this piece I was up at 6:30 in the morning in beautiful Downtown LA! And just made sure everything comes out perfect.
Another thing that people think the clothing business is this glamorous life style....well, to tell you the truth...thats all a front. I get dirty at work a lot!! And I love it!

I saw them at LA fashion week, then found out they were from Japan. So I had to go and say hi. I placed an order right away..I cant wait to get them! I wish I was in Japan to see their store. Drugs+Sluts=Superheros

That was the whole concept of Louis Carreon. My friends a I went down to Hollywood last minute to check it out because of the one photo we saw of this one painting.It seemed to be very different from other things.... SO we went by and all the superhero's were there with signs saying "Save Hollywood" and "Worhtless Fame". That is what has become of the entertainment industry and its really sad. I hope it will change again.That famous people will actually be the ones with talent and not because of a video or you tube or a blog...
Anyways, it was interesting to see his paintings. You can tell he has a lot to say. So I picked two of my favorites..and the last picture is me going into the superhero circle...and I was attacked! I cant show you those pictures cus they are not a pretty sight!

My Birthday Bash '08

I had a birthday party at my new home. A lot of my friends showed up! Couldn't fit all the pictures up! I ordered a pizza, the size was called "Mega" I didn't expect it to be sooo big! I had to put it on top of my washer and dryer! ha
And I was spoiled by three cakes! Thanks you guys who brought them! And one cool gift I received was a rainbow rose!! They invented it in Poland or something like that. This is REAL!! Crazy stuff!So pretty. Anyways, had so much fun! Thanks for all of you that came out on a rainy Saturday night! Your all the best! So Lucky to know all of you!

Today was a full night of events at Akira's. It was a fun night.Packed with all different kinds of foods and events. He had put together a talent show for us with singers, dancers, karate kids and he ended it off with him showing us HIS moves! He is such an entertainer! Happy Bday! Cant wait till to see what you'll do for us next year!

First Dog Park!!

On this beautiful Saturday morning I took my two little critters to the dog park. I found one near my new spot and I have fallen in love with the idea of going every week! (If I can keep up with it!!hehe)
Here you can see Mel mingling with the other pups, and my baby Coco- she is still very shy and scared. I think she was overwhelmed with everything.She didnt make any new friends this time.But its my goal to make her more of a socialite!

My friend had told me he found a little sneak peek of the bud light commercial. And this is what it is. But I cant seem to find the full version. Has anyone out there found it? Or can you find it??

Behind the Scenes!

After we finished the 3 day photo shoot. I took them all LA shopping. We started off with a fabulous lunch on top of Barney's (one of my favortie spots) and no out way there I had a pair of Red Raybans on.And everyone tried it on and loved the way it looked. So as an LA souvenir we went on a search for Red, White and Black Raybans. You be surprised! Alot of the stores I knew had them had sold out! But luckily we found them in Sak's. So after they got their own we all took a picture and called ourselves "The Rayban's" ( sorry for not being too original!) I had so much fun with the staff. We did such great team work! I hope to work with them again someday! Thank you guys for being GREAT!

YAY! Its out! I actually did 16pages but Iam giving you a sneak peek. You gotta go and find it yourself!( I might upload all the pictures later on..) But I just got it today and it looks great! They added a page about my line.And in the next Look!s issue you can actually buy some pieces! Which is very exciting to be selling it in Japan. Sorry I've been gone!

Hey everyone! Im so sorry I have been long gone!! It was a crazy end of the year and since the new year so much has happened!
New year! New everything!! Working on a TV show. Finishing my new collection. Just trying to settle into my new place.Talking to people with new projects to work on with...the list goes on. Trust me! I was thinking about the blogging for so long! I haven't even taken any new pictures! OHHH Im such a bad blogger! But Iam thinking of making this page as more of a personal blogging and maybe starting an only fashion blog on Uber.com. What do you think??? So much I want to do this year! Im also thing of dabbling in a little of vlogging! (video blogging)..Hope that was a real word! So I have a lot coming up this year, and i hope I will be a good blogger and be able to share it all with everyone!Don't give up on me yet!!
