Snail Cream

OK......

Yes.......

It is what it says.....

I had my clients come here (LA) from Japan and one of the first things the asked was
"Do you know about the SNAIL CREAM?" "It's for your face"
I had to ask again , just to double check......"Did you just say SNAIL??"

They told me that it is a big craze in Korea and coming into Japan right now. I knew nothing of it, so I did my research and I found it! You can only buy it online...unless there is some rare store in LA that is not online that I missed.

So this miracle cream can erase scars, rashes, burn marks, stretch marks ,almost anything!!!
Use is as an anti-aging cream, acne treatment, ingrown hairs...the list goes on and on.
And it is all organic. No snails have been harmed in the process!
It is all natural , hypoallergenic and safe for any age.

I have not tried it yet, but I have placed an order on this mysterious cream.
Here is the most popular cream of the snail sort:
ELCINA Snail Cream

The most delicious meal in Japan, so far!

I wish words could explain how good this was, or I had more of the vocabulary to write how good it was.
It is located near Tokyo station ,called "Shima" there are no signs so you will not just find it out of the blue, but if you google it..it might come up!
To sit at the table you will have to make a reservation a month in advance!! But if you do not mind the counter, they should be able to sit you any time ( call before though!) it is a very small spot, two big tables that sits 8 each and the counter holds maybe another 8 or so. The chef can speak a little of english because of all the foreigners that come by!

We started off with fresh raw oysters, a salad (forgot to take a picture!) then some raw beef... i know sounds crazy.. I was hesitant to eat it in the beginning but once I put it in my mouth it melted away like a really good raw tuna!
Next we had the crab meat with miso...indescribable! Then came the meat!
Now don't forget, the meat is so good you can eat it raw.....It melts in your mouth. All I can say is "wow"!!!
And to end it off they asked what kind of fruit with sorbet we wanted and I had Papaya fruit with Mango Sorbet.

Amazing , just amazing.
If you have the time and the money (little pricey!for lunch maybe around $150~$200 per person and dinner $200~$300) and you want the best meal EVER in Japan, then stop by , give it a try and let me know what you get!!!
Trust me, if I had a lot of money and a lot of time in Tokyo, you would see me there everyday!!!

Just found this~!!
Shima in particular is a beef otaku's paradise.

Chef Oshima has worked in London at the Connaught, went on to France and Germany to round out his cooking and then returned to Japan some 12 years ago to open Shima. Shima is a beef restaurant in Tokyo that puts all the beef I've ever had to shame. The restaurant is tiny, holding 20 people maximum. A few small tables in the back and a long counter behind which the kitchen staff prepare every dish ordered from scratch. cont....

Soba, Tendon and Oyakodon in Nihonbashi

On this trip we were in Nihonbashi most of the time.
Not a place I am familiar with, but quickly learned that Nihonbashi is full of really yummy restaurants.
Not the typical Chain restaurants, these are places that have been here for years, and specify on only a few things, thats why its soo good!

This day we had Soba, Tempura Don and Oyako Don.

Here at "YABU" in Nihonbashi!

All the waitress' are these super cute old ladies:)
Should've asked if I could take a picture with them!

November in LA is like summer

Hello Darlings!

So sorry I have been out of the loop. Been traveling to Japan and China for business. The almost 2 week trip was so busy ,it went by so fast!

Now I have learned my lesson for bringing Ipad's to Japan....DONT DO IT!
They are not current on wifi in the hotels! (staying at a friends or a place in Roppongi, you will be fine...)
But other than that, I now need to by a computer to take with me or I wont be able to work or post up on blogs etc.

Japan was very cold and a lot of rain. China, I went to Guangzhou, was very warm.
THEN back in LA and its 97 degree's out! We are in November!!! What is going on?

I am worried.....

Will post pix of Japan and China very soon:)
