Enjoyed some Duck last night!

hehehe, the title is kinda funny. I dont eat a lot of duck, actually I dont eat it at all. It had been maybe 8 years since my last duck. And that was for a tv show. Plus duck isnt something you wanna eat all the time, after the 2nd serving you are already done with it, in my opinion at least.
So my friends took me out to this place called "The Duck House" in Monterey Park. They told me it was famous for their duck.
Well, it was! It was really good food! My fav had to be the sticky rice with eel. It was sooo good!
If you do decide to make a trip down here to try it out, make sure you bring friends! There is a lot in one order so plenty to go around!Check out the website...

Wild Boar Party!

So, a friend of mine.President of Wild Boar, also the creator for AFRO SAMURAI had a party to celebrate the Anime Expo that was happening from July 2-5th.These are just some of the photo's.And it was so much fun!
I got to meet and talk with the original creator of Afro Samurai ,Takashi Okazaki. I asked him what were his plans while he was here, and its a business trip, so no time to play. BUT! He did stop by the Michael Jackson Hollywood Star before he came to the party! There is a little inside , nerdy secret! hehe

Was out in century city, had a meeting. The girl told me that there was a big shoe sale at Bloomies. So we decided to just stop by to see what there was..Well, there was soooo many people that we had to fight to get to the shoes!It was crazy
I wasnt meaning to buy anything, but when I saw these..I couldnt say no. It was another 40% off the sale price!!! Thats like almost nothing..hehehe
And it was going great with the outfit I had on..wish I had a picture of it....
Will wear it out tomorrow! Cant wait!!!

The LA Film Festival! Walked the red carpet and all:)
They finished the festival with a Studio Ghibli movie "Ponyo"
It was adorable! So innocent. I loved it. Makes me wanna watch it in Japanese too!

last night when I found out I cried.
I dont have the right words to express this feeling. He was one of those people that I never thought would go away.

Departing ways with FandJ Scarves...

Readers listen up! For several reasons I have decided not to produce any more FandJ scarves. I will no longer be any part of it.
Yes, its sad. It was my little baby. But things happen for a reason, at least I believe so.
So, I will let you in on a little secret!!
Me and a couple of other LA lines are planning to do a BIG SUMMER SAMPLE SALE! (in probably a month) Its gonna be super big!

Tickets !! They just make u mad!

So I had a call back. Felt so lucky I got a parking spot right outside the spot. Parked. Had a quick call back. Everything was perfect! Until I walked out and saw I had a ticket!!! I read the sign... But totally forgot it was Monday. Ever since I got back from japan I have lost track of what day it is...
Well, that's gonna change!
It's Monday in LA kids!! Beware of the meter maids!!! They will take all ur money!:(
Just for being 15 min after 12pm I got a $60 ticket...
That's $4 a minute!!

I finally got it!

Hey you guys! I've been in the dark for the past couple days because I have been studying my EYE's and HEART out on this State Board License for being a true Manucurist! ( I need to learn how to spell that! hehe) Manicurist!!
It was all day today. I went in at 7:30am registered, went to go and rent my tools and my wardrobe. Left everything in the car. Literally everything! My phone, camera, pens, notebooks etc.. all gone for a good 2 hours while I did my written exam.
Then a break time until my practical. I did some image training on what was going to happen! Met with my lovely model walked in all relaxed and confident.... Finish 15 min before the timer goes off:) Wait for another 30~45 min..and we wait for the results.
The girls that were called before me did not make it...Even the cute Vietnamese girl I had become friends with(Drove from San Diego at 4am in the morning to take this day test!)...She didnt make it. Thats when my confidence level went back down to 0! THEN, I saw girls crying!! The ones that didnt make it!! "Oh no~" was all that was going thru my mind, I really thought " I have to do it all over again"...thats when the man called my name and told me to sign my name in the box because I had passed!!!
YAY~! For the past 3~4 days that I could not sleep or think of anything else, Iam finally free from the TEST Stress!
Went home turned on the TV (what a luxury) and passed out on the sofa! What a busy day! From 7:30am till a little after 5pm. Felt like it would never end! But I did it! And it all started from me asking my friend whom owns a nail salon "Is it hard to get a license?"....Well, 3 months later, I did it!!!

First , I thought Top shop..but there are no stores in LA to actually go and see it...Then I thought, maybe Urban is getting up there..But actually theu have a long way to go. Style gets lost in that store. BUT H&M!!! Wow, you know how to do it!
