Buddy!

These are pictures i took at a party in Tokyo last last time I was there. My brother josh came by. And I bumped into my friend Rina which I hadnt seen for soo long! Maybe 5 years! She had gone to London to work! Now she is back and better than ever! I love her! I have just been in the proccess of getting everything ready for fashion week coming up in LA and Iam also moving.So it has been super busy and super hard doing everything at once! I promise you when I get back in the game! I will also be better than ever! I took a few minutes and went strolling on the web to find some new Rin or Friedia fan sites and it made me really happy . I appreciate all the work you guys put into this and it makes me wanna do more! This last trip to Japan was hopefully a good one and I am hoping for good things to happen!

The next night I hung out with my friend Fumi took me out to eat Okonomiyaki! Which I love and miss everytime I come back to LA! Havent found a spot here yet! This place she brought me to was run by a family and they cook it for you. And when it comes time to add the mayo or sauce they do it from far away on to the hot plate! Its kinda hard to explain the exitement you get unless you see it for yourself!I tried taking a few PIX!!
And after that we went to her place and got my nails done by her friend Aki! My first Gel Nail!! Its not sculpter nail and it lasts twice as longer than normal! To all the girls out there! You must try it when you get to Japan! And go see my girl AKi!!!

Day After I landed....

I arrived Japan at 4pm. It was raining and really cold.I found my way to my friends house and she took me out to eat yummy korean BBQ. It was soooo good! That night when we got back to the house I was greeted by a cute little doggie Mie chan and as soon as I saw my futon I passed out! The next morning still raining in Tokyo I woke up at 3am and again forced myself to sleep till 7. She was already awake and making breakfast! Something I have never seen before...Natto Toast!! Natto with Combu on Toast....I know it might not look that great..but it was pretty tasty! and of course dont forget your morning cup of tea!!

Happy HOUR!!!!

Happy Hour 1! This was in Pasadena and it was a little screening of alot of short films or music video’s or clips from different directors. Sponsored by Smuggler and Jakes pork and beans and many others. It was fun and somewhat inspiring. I love to watch short films and it makes me want to make short films myself. Hopefully I will get the opportunity one day.
Near the Pasadena movie theatre there was a Famima. Which is a Japanese convenient store that will be taking over America any time now!!They are popping up like pop corn!! They carry Japanese snacks, magazines even the little bento box’s that are just like the ones I used to live off of when I first moved to Tokyo! We decided to have dinner here and take pictures in front of the freezers light!

Happy Rosh Hashanna!

Happy New Year! I went to my very first Jewish New Year dinner! It was so much fun! We all sat down and did the traditional dipping the apple in the honey for a sweet year and eating the string beans to leave the enemy’s out of your life.. By the time we got to the actual meal…. I was stuffed. The food was amazing! And everyone was so sweet! Thanks for such a great time!
Hope this year will be a very healthy, full of laughter and a year that is filled with love!

Has been a very busy week. So much to write and show! So lets start off with last week I went to the secret Banksy Art Show everyone has been talking about. He is one of my favorites! I have been following his work for quite some time now and to finally see it with my own eyes!! Was amazing! His silly yet deep graffiti’s are great! He had the warehouse downtown separated in to different parts so you can get a little taste of everything. I especially liked the video he did about how he put his work up in famous museums or the Paris Hilton CD he did…or even the Disneyland incident that I didn't know about. It’s pretty crazy that he could pull all of that off! And that he never shows his face or appears at his own shows! That's the mystery he leaves that I’m sure makes people more and more curios about it all.

Hello everyone! I want to appologize for not keeping up woth the pix. I have been doing alot of traveling this month and working alot!!! Iam actually in Japan right now. I was here for only a day! Little Miss Sunshine

It has been so long that I forgot what good movies were all about! I heard it was good.I didnt know it would be THAT good! This is a must see!It is a movie with all different kinds of characters that you conect with and understand. The whole time your watching the movie it gives you so many feelings its amazing when you reach the end.A feel good movie..in a way. And Steven Carrel...I love him!!!!So funny!This movie had no computer graphics,no strong violence,no sex scenes,no guns....and you know what.Its soooo much better than those movies.
And that twas my opinion!heehhe go check it out!

MOF

Been working on this line with my partner.And it will be coming out soon to the buyers..not in stores till early next year. We had to have a photoshoot for it for the look book! So my partner and I got to cordinate all the looks and tell the model how to move and all.It was fun being behind the scene! I cannot wait to see how the look book comes out!We spent our whole Saturday working on it.We had a good team so it went smoothly. Iam very excited about the whole thing!

Mon chan!!??

Went to do my hair again. It was Masaki's last week there! He is moving back to japan and opening up his own salon! which I am happy for, and at the same time sad to see my friend move away.I hope to see him when I go to japan! His room mate came over to keep us company and he had brought his buddies in his bag.One was of a bear sleeping, and the other was this monkey.
His name is Mon chan.He is a super monkey with a cape and everything. I think he has had him for quite some time now. He also makes Mon chans bed at night! Its his pet!

Pyramids and enqlinators...

Umm..I know you cant really tell whats going on so let me explain...One of the reasons why I have not been able to keep on the blog is because I have been traveling so much. Here are one of the places I just got back from..last night.Las Vegas! We stayed at the Luxor Hotel and this is a picture from the 13th floor of all the hotel rooms on the other side! The hotel is a piramid!Instead of elevators there are enqlinators (not quite sure about my spelling) They are elevators that go sideways!!Yeah, weirdest expierience ever. The way the hotel was made was so facinating to me.I had to share it with you guys.Vegas has very interesting buildings everywhere.Its amazing just to go there to look at them.Oh!and dont forget the outlets!!

Got to hang out with one of my favorite designer!Miyashita!The sweetest man!! He IS the man of Number (N)...Him and his team were here in CA (and all around) for inspiration for their next collection! We all had drinks at the standard laughing and talking. And we went to Cha x3 on Santa Monica. It was soo much fun! They are such great people!We were all aroud the table looking at this months Harpers Bazar (i think it was..) because he had heard that Karl Lagerfeld talked about N.N! They said the knew he would come and buy their jackets but he never said anything...And now its all in writting! Its an amazing line and they just started the Paris collections..its one of those lines that you cant keep your eyes off of! they ROCK!!Number (N) is YUMMY YUMMY IN MY TUMMY<3<3

Heading out to see a Dog Fashion Show!

A black tie event was one of the fun things that happened the first night in NY. Everyone was wearing their best clothes and shoes for their love of their pets.Auctions were going on for raisng money for pounds and dog shelters.All for a very great cause! And the fashion show was really interesting! The new next thing with pets is for the owner and their pups to be wearing the same things! There was also a contest going on with new young student designers.And the boy who won (his clothes were the cutest and most out there!) said his inspiration was underground Harajuku kids!!Go Japan!!!
I didnt get to take any pix at the show, and here is one before I left in my hotel room!Notice the REDest bed I have ever seen in the back!!

New York Pet Fashion Week!!

So here is the reason why I have not been on here for sometime now. I just got back from New York! I launched my dog clothing line!!!YEAH!!! Its named CARAMEL after my doggie.He is my muse for this line.Something cute and yummy like caramel..without forgetting about the stickiness!!! Here is one of the most popular designs.
I did alot of pet press!!PupStyle.com,Petworld,Animal Planet!!And some dog magazines!So you better watch out!

Iam back in sunny ca!

Had a wonderful very successful trip to japan.it was a packed trip!had alot to do ,got to meet with alot of people.Iam very excited!good things are coming, I can feel it!Havent posted pix..but i got to see the secret Yeahx3 show at undercover office, hung out with jun.bumped into fujiwara hiroshi.gave me some words that i take with me.went down and hung out with oka from medicom toys!and my pals at onegram!we love silas and pam!!my best best buddy for a long time Justin davis got to hang out alot and actually went window shopping!thant was great!saw skeshin chan(designer for neighborhood) told him we would hang out..never got to..and a few more things i didnt get to do that iam upset with myself.....like saying hi to everyone at metal burger...HI!! Iam sure i will go back again soon! I miss everyone in japan already!Such great people!i got really inspired..iam ready to put it all out there now!!!

Eco Driving!

I was walking around Daikanyama the other day and saw they were showing this new bike thats coming out and that you can ride around town with it for 30 min! It looked like fun, needed a rest from all the shopping..so i took the offer! I had so much fun! This bike was great! It was light weight, very quiet, doesnt use gas you just need to charge it up....And sont forget its soo small! you can take it around in your car! I entered to win one of them! Im gonna be crossing my fingers because that would be great to have when I come back to Japan to ride!!!

Tonoike, the next speed skate champion!

I did the mc for the other day for Tonoike san. She will be joining the sport agency that Iam friends with.
I had introduced her and all the japanese newspaper's and the tv shows. She was a very sweet girl full of muscle!
She said that she was going to train really hard to be the next speed skate champion! I cant wait!
we are going to be training in the same gym.Its at the Takanawa Prince Hotel Slow Style Gym in the Sakura Tower.
Its a great gym!Its really nice and clean and its easy for girls to go work out in as well. Its not one of those manly man gyms. he also owns another gym in Tampa Florida. Which I went to a few months ago. And it was beautiful!

My Family

Had the best dinner I have ever had EVER!! It was at this famous japanese chef's Morimoto. It was sooo good! oh my goodness! I took a picture of everything that came out too! I went with my japanese family! They own the coolest salon and cafe!369!!!
They are the greatest. I have known them for the longest time. Ever since i was 16 I have known them. Thats crazy...10 years already.WOW. Im sure we will hang out some more and do alot of fun stiff will keep you posted. Sorry..have been running around so much! Much to do in so little time!

Another day in Japan hanging out with very cool designers! I respectthem very much! Justin Davis is one of my very very good friends and I just love him to death! And the other designer that I just Love is Miyashita san from Number (N). I went to his clothing exhibition and order'd some really cool stuff! Cant wait!Agghhhh sooo much fun!!!

iam in japan and went walking around with my buddy JD and when we came out from Under Cover (one of our favorite shops) we found this guy with a great vibe and wonderful sense of style. So we started to talk to him and asked him where he got his bag and shirt. He tole us Suzuki Takayuki. Which is one of my recent BIG TIME FAVORITES!! He is a great designer. And he said that he is a friend of his and can take us over to his work shop.....I hope he calls us when Iam still here! Iam dying to go!

Shark Reef!!

I went to Vegas a few weeks ago to hang out with my buddies. And it was so HOT out! we decided to go to the shark reef in the mandalay bay hotel. It was sooo much fun! Half of it was outside and around the end we were under the sharks! There were so many cute little fella's there! Half of my role of film was all fish!
Oh..and the whole thing starts off with an aligator!

I have been up and about...what do you do when your stuck in LA hot summer traffic??You take pictures of your new fabulous glasses!! These are the Gucci ones that Iam so in love with right now! I walked out of the store weraing them and already had 3 compliments walking out! hahaha Great way to start off a day!

Orange Rose's

My room mate picked out this flower for me from our back yard! So tiny and beautiful! I placed it in one of my vintage perfume bottles. And it now sits on top of my dresser. It just made me so happy I had to take a picture of it! Flowers make me sooo happy. When I turn 55 or 60..not sure yet..I want to have my own flower shop. I love them so much! Its really a gift from nature...

Sushi on Sunset?

Has now re-opened to The Empress. I went to their ore opening slash taste testing party. The owner is my friends really good friend so we went and tried all different kinds of stuff and met new interesting people. We had fun!!

Bunnie!!

I have been traveling alot. Running around places..and every time I leave home I always miss Mel. This one happened when I had just gotten home from a trip to Vegas.And I got home and saw that I had my camera back! While I was opening up the box....
Mel was behind me standing on his two feet! Like a Bunny! It was so cute! So I had to take a pix of it!

Enjoying Summer?

Hello everyone, How are you all?Sorry I havent been able to post in a while. Been really busy with various things and again..no camera.I have been enjoying my 2nd summer in LA!Summer times are the best! Especially the night times! It feels soo good out!I remeber when I was in Japan I would walk up and down Omotesando with my friends at night and just talk about silly things till we got tired. Iam going to be going back to Japan soon. So i will get to do that all over again!I cant wait!hopefully I will have my camera by then to show you guys some pix! July 4th is coming up!I already here the kids around our neighborhood lighting theirs.even though it is illegal... Iam still new to where to go for fireworks here in LA. All I know is the Rose Bowl! Its nice. Im hoping my friends will take me somewhere new this year. Cant wait! Hope everyone will enjoy their 4th of July with their family ,loved ones and bestest of friends!

ummmm.......

guess what happened?? I cant believe it.....my camera broke again.Iam so sad.....I had a week load of pix to show you guys and right when I thought I would post it..my camera breaks. So I sent it in to get it fixed again...But now Iam actually thinking of getting a brand new one! Has anyone seen the Ricoh GR???? Oh my gosh it is amazing!! Its like a real camera and its got style!
Its the price that makes me think twice about it...Its $800 in Japan and on ebay its $600 and up.....But Iam really feeling it. If it keeps on talking to me in my dreams then I know he is the right one for me!xxx

NEW DO AGAIN FELLA'S

I was having a pretty bad weekend.Im sure it was because of the full moon! you know how people get all crazy around that time...well they all did!except for me!hehehe ..I went out and got my hair did again!Went to my favorite hair dresser in LA.Masaki! He is still here..but will be leaving soon..its so sad...Im gonna miss him..Hopefully I will see him alot in Japan too!
So I got my hair cut a little bit.made it rounder and heavier on the front only! I like it alot!Im really happy with it! what do ya think??

My new BEST FRIEND!!

YEP! I found my buddy! Here she is!I call her Honey! It has just been weird weather in LA. but last week was pretty hot and I couldnt take it any longer so I had to go out and find her...Im glad I did!My room mate wanted one so we went to go get it the next day and it was sold out! It went up to 100degrees around here!!! She saved my life! we will be friends forever!

warm color for the sunset

Ive been really enjoying the beach recently. The water is geting warmer and the days are getting hotter,perfect beach time.
I also enjoy running on the beach...such a nice feeling! This is the sunset and the colors were so beautiful and warm and always changing.I just had to post it...take a few minutes and relax......

Movies at the cemetary

I heard that Saturday nights they play old movies at the Hollywood Forever Cemetary. So I went with my friend and it was the best time ever! Bringing a blanket and some snacks and watching an old movie under the stars on a warm night...what beats that? We watched an old Matt Dillan movie. He was really cute back then! and his character was great!
It's unusual to be watching a movie in a cemetary...I enjoyed it! Its going every Sat for the Hot Summer Nights!!

Going away party...

My best friend Beany is moving away this weekend..But I am happy for her. She is an amazing desgner and the work that she will be doing is going to be great! She will make the line better than ever! And she is happy with her decision, so Iam happy for her!As long a s my friends are happy then Iam happy.we had a going away party for her last night. So much fun!.....

CUPCAKE land!!!

yeah!! My camera is back and ready to go! It was a hot LA night and nothing to do , so i decided to make cupckaes for everyone!
It was so much fun! I bake cupcakes to cheer me up!And it makes everyone around me happy as well! During the weekends we had a min BBQ and the cupcakes were sold out! i did good! and I got my cream white casio camera back!! Iam so excited! Now you can see what I see!

Oh My Madonna!

Today was the best day ever! I woke up at 8am by a phone call from my very good friend asking me if I was ready!? I thought he was going a little crazy because it made no sense....until he started to shout that he got tickets to go see MADONNA tonight!!!Aghhh~!I couldnt believe it myself. Yes, since it was last minute the tickets were a fortune.but when will I really get to see Madonna again?What if she never does a show again?..Anyways... the show was totally worth it! That lady is an entertainer! She lives it! It was amazing. She looked spectacular! her peformance was mind blowing!it was such a great show!I just got back from it and Iam still listening to her CD! Madonna forever!
